Jared Horne is a 2028 RHP/IF with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Peachland, NC who attends Anson Co. Early College. A strong and sturdy 6-foot frame, Horne turned in a strong round of infield drills, showcasing a corner infield skill set. Horne used a strong glove with good mechanics to work to the ball and deliver accurate throws across the diamond. He reached 77 mph from the infield. With the bat, Horne starts with a bigger leg lift and good handset, transitioning into a line drive barrel through the zone. There is some present bat speed, making him a bat to keep an eye on. On the mound, Horne ran the fastball up to 80, while also working with a mid-60s curveball.
