Kieran Dunne is a 2028 LHP/1B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Oyster Bay, NY who attends St. Dominic. Lean and lanky athletic build with plenty of physical projection remaining. Works from a well controlled hybrid delivery from the third base side of the rubber with a whippy low 3/4's arm slot, hides the ball well behind a high leg raise. Fastball topped out at 80 mph with some running life, also cut his fastball at 73 mph with good shape, more a slider look with the relative velocity. Also threw a sweeping curveball and a developing change up. 7.33 runner in the sixty. Secondary first baseman on defense, waits back on the ball and bends at the waist fielding, makes accurate throws. Left handed hitter, sets up in a spread stance with a low back elbow load and a short stride into contact, rotational upper body swing, flashed some strength when he got off his back side. Excellent student.
