2024 Northern California High School All-State Games (Invite Only)
Raphael Gonzalez is a 2026 OF/C with a 5-11 160 lb. athletic frame from Oakley, CA who attends Freedom HS. Started off the event clocking a 7.14 60-yard dash. A primary catcher. Athletic traits were displayed defensively from behind the pate with quality receiving ability and proper footwork for strong, accurate throws down to second base. Transfers were crisp and downhill to the bag. Offensively, he sets up in a wider stance leading to a moderate weight transfer that forces him to hit off his front side. The bat path is short, direct and on plane with ample bat speed. Pull side power is present but not with the lack of opposite field intent.
