Dhillon Cannavo is a 2028 RHP/1B with a 6-0 205 lb. frame from Washington, DC who attends St. Albans School. Large, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran an 8.17 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, controlled leg lift at start of delivery, comes down the mound well with lower half and works to an over-the-top slot at release. Pounded the zone with fastball up to 76 mph with some sink and running life through the zone. Maintains release point on curveball well, 12-6 shape with lots of depth up to 66 mph, potential to be swing-and-miss offering. Worked out in both the infield and at first base; accelerates late through the ball in the dirt, deliberate footwork with some feel for the glove, actions work on a corner. Moves through the ball well at first base, accurate throws from a longer arm action, fields the ball out front. Right-handed hitter, begins with a narrow and even base with a tight hand set at start, negative toe tap trigger for load at start of swing. Rotational stroke, incorporates physical strength well and shows quickness to hands, can impact when squared and on time, creates some torque through lower half. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
