2024 14U Mid-Atlantic All-State Games (Invite Only)
Gianni Heidenberg is a 2028 OF/LHP with a 5-8 135 lb. frame from Laurel, MD who attends Arch Bishop Spalding. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean build, room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.22 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, does a nice job of remaining low on approach and throughout actions, long strides, pulls down hard into release and shows present arm strength with accuracy to the intended base from a lower slot. Also pitched, abbreviated windup with deliberate pace, coiled leg lift into balance point with some drop and drive down the mound. Worked to an extended three-quarters release point, fastball topped out at 70 mph with the ability to add/subtract on the offering and worked around the zone. Slurvey breaking ball with some depth up to 61 mph. Left-handed hitter, begins with a balanced and even base in the box and a high hand set and back elbow in set up. Rotational swing, occasionally gets to front side early but shows quickness from launch position and able to generate nice jump off of the barrel to the pull side already. Projects well with added physical strength and already gets the barrel through the zone efficiently. Very good student. Named to the 14u Mid-Atlantic All-State Games Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
