Boden Buus is a 2028 OF/C/MIF with a 5-5 145 lb. frame from Brea, CA. Works from a smaller frame with present athleticism. Primary outfielder, worked through the baseball at a deliberate pace with the glove out in front. Separated into an uphill release and created some carry on the throws, recorded arm strength up to 74 mph. From behind the dish, starts in a side saddled stance and gains ground on the transfer. Works uphill a bit and separates into a deeper arm path. Showcased developing arm speed and kept the throws around the bag, recorded arm strength up to 67 mph with a pop time of 2.09. Right-handed hitter, starts in a narrow base with a loose hand set, utilizes a small step for a load and works into a direct bat path that gets lengthy at times. Limited lower-half engagement, produced line drives to the middle of the field when timed up, recorded an exit velocity of 69 mph. Ran a 7.61 sixty-yard dash. Excellent student.
