Bo Shuba is a 2026 1B/LHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Scottsdale, AZ who attends Chaparral. Large, athletic frame with long limbs and room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.99 60-yard dash. Primary first baseman, plays back on the ball and can get more footwork involved in overall actions but clean glove skill out front and receives well with soft hands, tall target, longer arm action with carry and strength across the diamond to intended base. Also pitched, abbreviated delivery on the mound, gets tall on backside and can incorporate additional lower half into drive down the mound; low effort and control, three-quarters release point coming from a longer arm action. Fastball topped out at 78 mph, flashes running life to arm side, tends to get inconsistent with release to arm side. Curveball showed some downer action up to 65 mph. Left-handed hitter, begins with a wide base and lower hand set in the box; stays short with swing through the zone and shows ability to use the whole field. Shows making of strength when on times and in sync with quickness to hands, tends to open front side early, shows athleticism in swing. Good student. Named to the Sunshine Southwest Top Prospect List.
