2024 High School All State Select Championship (2027-2028 Grads)
Kaiden Kinard is a 2029 1B/RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Smoaks, SC who attends Andrew Jackson Academy. Very strong athletic build that stands out. Ran 7.09 60-yard dash. Primarily a first baseman, releases ball with a short arm stroke utilizing lower half in throwing mechanics. Moves well to the ball and will continue to improve with softer hands. Hits left-handed with a narrow, open stance utilizing a leg hang and slight toe tap to initiate bat movement. Tends to let ball get deep in the hitting zone but short bat path allows for barrel contact. With a continued clean path, swing will result in more line drives in the gaps with strength developing in lower half. Also pitched utilizing a windup and a 3/4 arm slot delivery. Fastball topped 75mph with slight cut away from RHH. Breaking ball had hybrid slider/curveball movement that had good sweep and topped 62mph. Also a great student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
