Carlos Zamuel Ortega Pacheco is a 2025 UT/ with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Maracay, AR who attends . Medium frame with a lot of room to fill out and add strength to the build. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Small side step into a leg lift above the belt. Full arm path with a soft plunge in the back. High three-quarters arm slot and finishes throwing across his body. Fastball peaked at 82 mph. Curveball showed big 12/6 shape with good drop while the slider has short, horizontal bite to it. Throws a changeup to complete the four pitch mix and throws a lot of different looks at hitters. Great student.
