Trent Hochstetler is a 2027 1B/2B, SS with a 6-1 135 lb. frame from Starkville, MS who attends Gateway Christian Schools. Recorded a 8.30 second 60-yard dash time. Primary infielder with a long and lanky frame. Two-hand funnel out front with solid angles to gather. Corner actions and footwork with accurate throws across the diamond. Right-handed pitcher with a low-belt lift working from the third base side of the rubber. Fastball to both sides of the plate with controlled delivery. Feel for a breaking ball in the zone with developing spin. Athletic delivery with quick feet on the pickoff and fields the position. Right-handed hitter with an even and balanced stance. Works through the middle of the field with leverage and impact out front. Excellent student.
