Matthew Sharon is a 2027 RHP/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Bethpage, NY who attends Plainedge. Sharon works from a medium build with strength evident throughout the frame. On the mound, the righty utilized a full windup starting from a wider base on the rubber. He displayed life out of the hand up to 80 mph and hid the ball effectively releasing from a high 3/4 slot. Successfully mixed an 11-5 shaped breaker that was recorded at 1759 rpm as well as a CH that killed spin effectively and flashed fading action at 1324 rpm. From the IF, Sharon worked through the baseball well and showcased sound projectable actions overall, again topping out at 80 mph. Produced accurate throws across the diamond with reliable glove work. Offensively, started from a slightly closed base with a high hand set and high back elbow. Utilized a simple stride into impact with additional room to get the barrel out in front and create extension. Intent to generate lift in the bat path, posting an exit velo of 70 mph. Ran a 7.65 sixty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
