2024 West Florida Uncommitted Showcase  
Kotaro Hanamura is a 2026 BHP/3B/OF with a 6-0 182 lb. frame from Kunitachi, TK. Medium athletic build with long arms and legs. Both handed pitcher with talent from both side. Seems to be more of a natural left handed thrower, worked up to 86 mph from the left side with a high leg raise delivery and an over the top arm slot, delivery is slow paced and under control. Also threw a big breaking downer curveball left handed that over matched hitters. Showed the same type of raw stuff from the right side and created soft ground ball contact with the ability to throw strikes. 7.38 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the outfield and infield, had very confident actions in the infield with good glove work, gets rid of the ball quickly, obviously throws right handed in the infield. Left handed thrower from the outfield. Left handed hitter at the plate as well, starts from a narrow closed stance with a quick lift and replace foot load, prototypical Japanese inside swing path with his best contact to the right center field gap. Pretty unique mound talent to continue to develop. Named to the West Florida Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.
