Haverly Cox is a 2026 3B/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from O’Fallon, MO, who attends Home School. A taller frame with a higher-set waist, showing a long & lean build. Has some strength throughout the build. Room to keep filling out the frame and adding to the strength. Ran a 6.83 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman who worked out on the infield with traits to like. He showed the strength throwing with a longer release from a three-quarters arm slot, with some extension to it. He ranged well laterally and stayed light on his feet overall. He threw 86 mph across the diamond with some whip through the release. He played good defense at third in-game as well. A right-handed hitter with a spread base, higher-set hands, higher back elbow, and a deeper load. He had a leg lift trigger with some coil to it, creating a good barrel whip, which allowed him to leverage the ball out in front and extend through the swing at times. He has deeper hands in the load and was able to lift backside and up the middle during his round. There's some looseness to the hands that allows him to deliver a quick, strong, and on-time barrel. He controls it well and impacts it well. Took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with long levers working from the wind-up. He had a sidestep into an out-and-around leg lift, working down the mound with a clean and fluid arm action with some whip and good arm speed. He whips it from a three-quarters arm slot, coming through it with some momentum. He has some diving sink on the fastball up to 87 mph, holding the low- to mid-80s. He also showed the ability to cut it working glove side. He had a changeup with arm-side fade up to 80 mph, mostly in the mid- to upper-70s. He also flashed a harder slider up to 74 mph with more 10-4 shape and depth to it, a tighter and lateral breaking pitch. Also showed a curveball in the mid-60s that had 11-5 shape with bigger depth and bite to it. Mixed all of his pitches, rolled up a bunch of groundball outs and found success. Good student. Named to 2024 St. Louis Uncommitted Showcase TP List.
