Asher Blessman is a 2028 1B/LHP with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from Canton, IL who attends Canton. Extra big and strong build. Left handed hitter, has a simple swing with a short hanging front foot trigger, aggressive swing approach, looking to get the barrel out front and pull the ball, creates bat speed and leverage and showed his pop well. 8.79 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman on defense, still developing his actions and confidence, tends to get his glove down late, can continue to work on his lower half quickness and agility. Took a turn on the mound, works from the stretch, lands open on landing, short and compact release point. Fastball topped out at 76 mph, gets some cut to it at times. Sweeping curveball had some spin and sharpness to it at times and was his best pitch. Bat is his tool. Named to the 14U Midwest All-State Games Top Prospect List.
