Preston Jenkins is a 2025 OF/LHP/1B with a 5-11 225 lb. frame from Skidmore, MO who attends Nodaway-Holt. Bigger physical frame. Showed developing actions in defense drills with begging stages footwork approaching the baseball and solid average arm strength from both the outfield and first base. Hit from a wide base, showed an inconsistent bat path and some natural strength in the swing. Can impact the baseball when getting to a consistent fundamental fielding position. Showed a fastball and breaking ball on the mound out of a 3/4 slot from the left side. Fastball sat in the upper 70's and showed feel to locate the sweeping breaking ball in all counts. Strike thrower that can challenge hitters. Very good student.
