Jakob Junis is a 2011 3B/RHP with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Rock Falls, IL who attends Rock Falls HS. Large framed athletic build, good present strength. Two-way prospect. 7.15 runner, good actions at 3B, has lateral quickness, raw arm strength, needs work on footwork on throws. Right handed hitter with tall stance, controlled swing, line drive contact, hits to all fields. Better prospect as RHP. Simple turn/throw delivery with minimal effort, 3/4's release. 88-90 mph fastball, showed good depth and sharpness to mid 70's curveball, solid arm speed on change up, 3 quality pitches and good feel for strike zone.
