This 6 foot 183 pound catcher has good defensive tools and a bat with tons of potential. Henson showed a good arm behind the plate with a 1.99 from pop to pop and we think he can decrease that time with quicker footwork. His arm-strength is very good being clocked between 77-80 mph on those pop times. He showed pretty good foot-speed in the 60 and can run the bases well. At the plate Henson has a good tall posture, starts out with his hands above the ball, showed a smooth and fluid swing with quiet hands upon initiating his swing and used enough hips and body to show some power. The swing plane is level and it found the baseball much of the time. He hit a couple deep balls that came off the wood fast . We really like the potential in his game.
