Spencer Trayner is a 2013 MIF/RHP with a 6-0 160 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Jesuit HS. Slender young low waisted build, some wiry present strength. 7.00 runner, athletic defensive actions, quick release and can make throws on the run, big-time cannon when he sets up and squares his feet, good hands and balance. Right handed hitter, spread stance, pull back load, quick hands, good hitting rhythm, line drive contact and can drive the LCF alley when squared up. Also pitched, throws both standard 3/4's and submarine, fastball 89-91 up top, heavy 87-88 sinker down low, throws hard curveball and nice change up from up top, all sinkers from down low. Very versatile athlete, hasn't defined himself as a player or pitcher yet or even what style pitcher. Has all the tools. Verbal commitment to North Carolina.
