Palmer Betts is a 2012 3B/RHP, OF with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Adel, GA who attends Cook County HS. Slender projectable athletic build, some present strength. Big infield arm, long and loose, easy on line carry, moves easily, soft hands, 6.97 runner, top level defensive tools at 3B, also plays OF well. Leg lift trigger hitting, present bat speed, loose extension out front, quick hands, can get a bit long at times, stays inside well and drives the ball. Also pitched, Fastball to 85 mph, have seen 89 mph before, velocity projects, easy delivery, arm works well, FB mostly straight, slider will flash tight spin, tends to drop elbow on slider.
