Matt Eastman is a 2014 1B/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Endwell, NY who attends Union Endicott High School. Large frame, strong lean build. Good bat speed, rotational swing, line drive plane, solid contact skills, good hitting approach, aggressive within the strike zone, solid stroke, drove the ball back up the middle well vs live pitching. Good body control defensively, picks low throws well, good footwork, solid range. Very good student.
