Adam Reis is a 2016 RHP/1B with a 6-0 206 lb. frame from Orlando, FL who attends Colonial HS. Big and strong build, especially in the lower half. Drop and drive delivery from a good hip coil, medium effort release, high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-80's fastball, topped out 87 mph, mostly straight but with occasional arm side running action. Throws both a curveball and slider, curveball was the better pitch this outing with good spin and some 12/6 downer depth. Slider spotted glove side with a short cutter like break. Rare change up but it showed quality feel and movement and could be used more. Ability to locate and mix will be key to his future.
