Blake Simmons is a 2016 SS/OF/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Macon, GA who attends Tattnall Square Academy. Medium athletic build, has some present strength. 6.85 runner, moves well in the infield with range, charges the ball well, short compact arm action with some carry to his throws. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance with a still hand start, inside swing path with mid to opposite field contact, has quick hands and flashed some gap pop when squared, has hitting tools he can develop with some adjustments. Solid overall athlete. Named to the Showcase Top Prospect Team.
