Trace Bucey is a 2016 OF/ with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Corpus Christi, TX who attends Carroll HS. Strong tightly wound athletic build, high waist with a strong core. Left handed hitter, quick direct hands to the ball, really explodes his hands at contact when he isn't too inside on the ball, showed bit carry and power when timed and squared, not consistent with his mechanics but the bat speed and potential is there. 6.63 runner, has young footwork in the outfield but athletic tools, strong arm with carry. High ceiling athlete who is going to keep improving with repetitions. Very good student, verbal commitment to Texas A&M.
