Logan Brouwer is a 2017 RHP/3B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Clermont, FL who attends Lake Minneola HS. Brouwer has a large frame with a thick stronger build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a quick arm action. Brouwer has an online delivery and maintains balance throughout. He pitches downhill well and gets some down plane on his fastball. He throws a good 12/6 curve ball with good depth and sharpness to it. Brouwer gets some run on his fastball and located it around the strike zone well. He gets good extension out front and worked ahead in the count well in his outing. Defensively he showed solid defensive actions at 1B with solid footwork around the bag. He also made a few really nice picks in the dirt. At the plate, Brouwer has a high hand set and uses a big stride to start his swing. He showed developing bat speed with a lot of moving parts to his swing. Very good student.
