Anthony Martinez is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Miami, FL who attends Christopher Columbus HS. Medium athletic build. Slow paced delivery with hard late acceleration to the plate, long arm action with a mid 3/4's arm slot, loose arm, repeats delivery well. Fastball topped out at 89 mph, adds and subtracts from fastball, very good running action at times, pitches low in the zone and misses low, will cut fastball occasionally. Pitches aggressively with fastball, rare change up, did not throw a breaking ball but has frequently in tournaments. Good student, signed with Indian River State College.
