Alex Carrillo is a 2015 RHP/OF, SS with a 6-1 202 lb. frame from West Covina, CA who attends West Covina. Tall, strong and physically mature. Ran a 7.31 60 yard dash. Throws from a high three-quarter arm slot and has a long arm action in back. Has a high leg lift in his delivery and leans back at his balance point. Sits at 84-86 mph with his fastball and has good life through the zone. Shows tight rotation on his 11-5 slider at 76. Repeats his delivery very well. Also mixes in a usable changeup. Played the field as well, shows a strong outfield arm and works through the ball well. Makes hard line drive contact at the plate and hits from a wide setup. Uses a no stride approach and keeps his hands inside the ball very well. Named to Top Prospect list. Good student.
