Jalin McMillan is a 2015 3B/SS with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Simeon Career Academy. Strong well proportion athletic build, room to get stronger. Right handed hitter, high hand start, hits down to the ball with a good hand path, loose extended swing with contact out front, will release the bat early at times, good bat speed with some jump off the barrel, can use lower half better to generate power, nice overall swing that projects. 6.99 runner, moves well defensively and shows lateral range, short compact arm action, catcher's release, accurate soft throws. Very good student, verbal commitment to Illinois.
