Daniel Lynch is a 2018 3B/RHP with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Jupiter, FL who attends William T. Dwyer HS. Big and strong athletic build, especially for a sophomore. Two-way prospect who graded out higher as a pitcher at this even. Simple side step delivery with good balance, medium length arm action in back with a high 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose out front with good extension, repeats mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 84 mph with occasional arm side running life, showed the ability to work his fastball to both sides of the plate. Sharp biting low 70's curveball, maintains his arm speed well and showed feel for the pitch. Has two present solid pitches on the mound and very good command potential. Left handed hitter, limited shift into contact, upper half swing, swings hard and has some hand quickness, tends to lean back significantly in his swing and swing uphill, has potential with adjustments due to his strength. 7.75 runner, hands are clean on defense, long and loose arm action, may out grow third base in terms of speed and agility. Good student.
