Jackson Emus is a 2019 RHP/OF, 1B with a 6-5 205 lb. frame from Hopedale, MA who attends Phillips Academy High School. Extra-large frame, strong, durable build, long limbs, and plenty of room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.33 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, leg raise over belt, smooth, online delivery, loose, easy arm action, and ability to repeat three quarter arm slot. Fastball worked 79-83 mph with natural arm side life and sink to the lower third of the zone. Would see velocity increase with additional lower half drive. Slider showed 10/4 shape on the mound with big, sweeping action to the plate. Also showed a changeup at 71 mph slowing his arm slightly for the pitch. Changed eye levels well and attacked hitters. Also worked out as an outfielder, showed a very loose arm action, strength in the arm, and easy carry out of the hand. At the plate, a switch hitter who impressed from the left side. Started with a wide base, open stance, low hand set, and a leg lift timing mechanism. Showed quick hands from the left side with good bat speed and ability to get the barrel through the zone. Upper-half dominant swing with ability to generate impact off the barrel with a pull side approach. Named to Top Prospect List.
