Alex Green is a 2017 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-3 195 lb. frame from Douglasville, GA who attends Chapel Hill High School. Large frame, medium build with long limbs and room to add additional weight. From the field, showed a strong arm across the infield topping out at 83. At the plate, utilized a wide base and square stance with a high hand set. Leg lift trigger with hand load timing mechanism, flashed present bat speed with strength and leverage to drive the ball. Primary hitter who also pitched, used a three quarter arm slot with a short arm action. Fastball had natural cut action and topped out at 84. Could do better to work on consistency in release point and repeating delivery. Good potential as both a pitcher and position player.
