Juan J Teixeira is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Cooper City, FL who attends Somerset Academy Charter. Athletic build with good present strength. High 3/4's arm slot with good arm strength, lands on a very hard front side. Fastball topped out at 90 mph, mostly straight. Nice change up that he has lots of confidence in, will pitch fastball/change up back and forth at times. Still developing breaking ball, softer spin with 11/5 depth. Verbal commitment to Florida International.
