Ford Hallock is a 2022 OF/RHP, IF with a 6-1 170 lb. frame from Norcross, GA who attends Greater Atlanta Christian. Slender frame with athletic movements all around, some room to fill left in frame. Ran a 7.03 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder, long strides, bounding towards ball with good glove action. Full arm swing, takes some time building up momentum before releasing ball, strong-arm makes up for time taken, up to 89mph on throws from the outfield. Secondary right-handed pitcher, full wind-up starting with a side-rocker step into an elevated leg lift, uses whole frame to stride down mound and extend through the catcher. Remains balanced during delivery, comes from an over-the-top arm slot with natural deception hiding the ball well. Ran fastball up to 86mph, while ranging from 80-86 with late-life in the zone. Flashed a breaking ball with 10/4 shape that is continuing to develop. Also took reps in the infield during drills, fields out in front and plays through the ball well, threw it up to 88mph across the diamond. Very athletic and moves well at position, projects better in the outfield. Right-handed hitter, even stance with a high-hand set, quick toe-tap-trigger to get started. Barrel remains flat through the zone, generates good amount of bat speed, gets barrel out through extension. Athleticism plays. Named to 2021 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List. Outstanding student.
