Chase Centala is a 2020 RHP/1B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Sickles. Medium athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Crossfire delivery with lots of deception, hooked long arm action in back but gets through it early and well, has a loose and whippy arm out front. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, gets good arm side running action and can get it to the glove side with intent despite his mechanics. Nice change up with arm speed and fading action as well. Slurve type breaking ball can be tightened up a bit but lands it consistently with some depth, could break the pitch into both a curveball and slider. Tunneled all three pitches very well and had a very nice outing.
