Ronald Loricco is a 2016 OF/ with a 5-10 190 lb. frame from Woodbridge, CT who attends Hamden Hall. Medium-Large frame with athletic, quality build throughout body. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.06 seconds. Hits from tall, narrow stance with slightly open front hip, leg lift trigger into swing, overall pull-field approach with solid bat speed and strength. Hands work well in swing after load, turns the barrel well. Can sting the ball when on time with consistency, present gap power with more developing. Showed athletic actions in the OF, waits back on the ball some and takes aggressive move into crow hop after fielding. Good feet, circles the ball well, gets off clean release with good accuracy to target, OF velocity clocked up to 76 MPH. Pitched as well, showed long and easy arm action up to three quarters slot, slight cross body delivery, FB worked 74-77 with some cutting action. Showed CB with 11/5 shape and solid depth; also flashed straighter CH with good deception. Good student.
