Pryce Bender is a 2024 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-3 165 lb. frame from Edmond, OK who attends Edmond North. Long and lean athletic build with plenty of physical projection ahead. Two-way prospect. Right handed hitter, hits from a narrow stance with a big hand drop load to start his swing, good lower half shift into his swing, swings hard, line drive swing plane with some young bat speed, can improve his consistency with a better hand load. 6.84 runner in the sixty. Does a nice job of fielding the ball out front on defense with soft hands, moves well from side to side with good body control, can throw from multiple arm angles, tools and athleticism to stay in the middle of the field. Also pitched, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot with a loose and fast arm. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with nice arm side run, located his fastball well to both sides of the plate. Threw both a curveball and slider with some spin to them and good arm speed. Very good student. Named to the South Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
