Dane Goodman is a 2018 OF/ with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Ross, CA who attends Redwood. Large frame with an athletic build. Large frame with an athletic build and wiry strength. Frame projects for additional strength while maintaining athleticism. Ran a 6.82 sixty-yard dash. Primary outfielder with aggressive footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions at pick up and working through exchange. Long arm circle at separation and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated some carry to the bag with accuracy topping at 78 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with an upright, event stance and reaching front side trigger. Shifts into contact well with linear lower half actions. Present bat speed at contact with a naturally lifted plane through extension. Showed developing feel for the barrel, but generated good jump off the barrel with carry to the gaps when on time and squared. Good student as well.
