Karlos Morales is a 2017 LHP/1B/OF with a 6-3 170 lb. frame from la puente, CA who attends South Hills HS. Long and lean young build, projects very well physically. Leg lift delivery with a pause and some hip turn at the top, some drift to the plate, extended high 3/4's arm slot, arm works well coming through. Fastball topped out at 86 mph, gets occasional cut or running action depending on the side of the plate. Tends to slow up his arm on his curveball, flashed some spin and depth but still a developing pitch for him. Showed a smooth left handed swing at the plate with sound fundamentals and some bat speed. Young player who should keep improving with physical maturity.
