Wesley Scott is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Riverside, CA who attends Woodcrest Christian HS. Medium athletic build, has very long arms for his height, square shoulders, projects physically. Athletic delivery with a long, loose and whippy arm action, mid 3/4's arm slot, more horizontal than vertical plane, drop and drive mechanics, works consistently to the bottom of the zone. Fastball topped out at 93 mph, has been up to 95 mph in the past. Short and late slider, will flash big depth at times. Big sink on his change up. Ability to move the ball and throw to spots notable. Verbal commitment to Vanderbilt. Selected to play in the 2018 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
