Tristan Tinney is a 2017 LHP/OF with a 5-10 185 lb. frame from Bridgeville, PA who attends South Fayette Twp HS. Medium build and frame with room to fill out, has strength in lower half. Short arm action in back to a over the top arm slot, good extension at release point. Smooth compact delivery with low effort. Repeats delivery well. Fastball showed cut and mixed in a 1/7 sharp breaking curveball that shows good potential and had feel for it. Flashed change up potential, change up was mostly straight. Hits from an open stance, short swing path, aggressive approach, mid to opposite contact, line drive plane. Defensively, good arm, threw 85 from OF, works through ball well, has good accuracy. Outstanding Student.
