Zeb Storie is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Juneau, AK who attends Thunder Mountain. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; good projectable room for growth remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.70 seconds. Hits from narrow, square stance with good balance throughout hitting mechanics. Clean hand path to and through the zone, generates solid bat speed, and does excellent job making square, line drive contact to all parts of the field. More power will develop with additional strength gains and physical development. Good hitting approach; doesn't expand zone. Worked out defensively in the infield. Waits back on the ball and works around it into funnel, fields cleanly and shows solid footwork into crow hop and release. Solid accuracy across the diamond with arm strength up to 71 MPH. Good student.
