Jayden Carbonell-Smith is a 2021 SS/2B, OF with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Cambridge. Medium and lean build with room to fill. Ran a 6.79 second 60 yard dash. Primary shortstop has athletic movement to the ball, a smooth and easy glove, a quick and strong arm, and throws accurately to the base. Secondary right handed pitcher starts from the first base side of the rubber with a high hands set, long arm with a high ¾ slot, and good downhill plane on the ball. Flashes a breaking ball and a change up with developing arm speed. Right handed hitter shows a slightly open stance with high hands, a high back elbow, toe tap trigger, good timing on the ball, good hip rotation, and good barrel control with developing backspin.
