Jackson Cobb is a 2018 C/OF with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Topeka, KS who attends Seaman HS. Outstanding physical build, well proportioned with good present strength and room for more. Compact arm action behind the plate, gets rid of the ball quickly and makes accurate throws, can use lower half better to help drive throws and increase raw arm strength. Left handed hitter, shows bat speed and the ability to drive the ball when he gets separation and hits through the ball aggressively, gets too focused on swing mechanics and an inside hand path frequently, needs to let the barrel fly and attack pitches to best use his tools. Very projectable young hitter with adjustments. Good student, verbal commitment to Kansas.
