Wil Ferguson is a 2020 C/2B, OF with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Alpharetta, GA who attends Johns Creek. Large and lean frame with lots of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.25 second 60 yard dash. Primary catcher, worked out behind the plate with a side saddle and higher stance, comes up to an upright release, could work more through the baseball and gain additional ground the second base for more arm strength, full arm action with a quick transfer, one hop accuracy on throws, 2.19 second best pop time. Right-handed hitter, balanced and slightly open stance at the plate, takes a double toe tap trigger used for timing, strides into contact and takes a linear swing path through the hitting zone, opposite field oriented approach, will improve with adjustments to timing.
