Jonny Suchor is a 2019 MIF/RHP, 3B, UT with a 6-0 155 lb. frame from Boulder, CO who attends Boulder. Medium frame with a lean build and wiry strength. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Ran a 7.49 sixty-yard dash. Primary middle infielder with fundamental footwork while rounding the baseball. Funnels the baseball from a slightly deeper position and works through exchanges with loose, clean actions. Created good momentum to the bag while releasing from a full three-quarters arm slot. Throws generated accurate, on line carry topping at 81 miles per hour. Left handed hitter with a spread, slightly crouched stance and simple leg lift trigger. Stays balanced with rotational lower half actions. Loose, uphill plane through contact and primarily used a mid field approach but also showed the ability to turn barrel to contact and work to the pull side gap. Also pitched showing a simple, inline delivery. Compact arm circle at separation and released from a high three-quarters to near overtop arm slot. Creates some downhill angle through the zone with a fastball offering that sat in the low to mid 70's, topped at 75 miles per hour. Showed to planes with breaking pitch, each have loose spin with occasional depth in the low to mid 60's. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Good student as well.
