Aiden Moffett is a 2022 RHP/1B with a 6-3 225 lb. frame from Mount Olive, MS who attends Taylorsville. Big and strong build, especially in the lower half. Big hip turn delivery, gets into his strong lower half well, long arm swing in back coming to a 3/4's arm slot with good extension out front, has some deception with hesitations in his delivery and works quickly. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, hitters don't seem to see his fastball well and were often late, has been up to 93 mph at PG events earlier this summer. Curveball had nice tight spin and good shape to it as a solid second pitch, has confidence in throwing his curveball on any count. Developing a firm change up with some fade and deception. Outstanding student, verbal commitment to Louisiana State.
