Ben Tryon is a 2023 SS/3B/2B with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Southlake, TX who attends Carroll. Medium build with some length and plenty of room to fill out as he continues to develop. Primary infielder, fields out in front well, glove works softly to both sides. Meticulous with his reads off the bat. Looks to pick out hops when fielding. Arm strength across the diamond will develop nicely alongside his build. At the plate, uses an upright and even stance with a simple stride trigger. Showcases plus barrel control, flat barrel path through the zone. Pop will continue to progress, lower half fires violently at launch. Solid middle of the field approach, hitterish foundation that stands to turn into something special. Excellent student in the classroom as well.
