Timothy Williams is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 5-11 141 lb. frame from Shenandoah, VA who attends Page County HS. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lena, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Primary lefthanded pitcher, starts with a side step moving into a full hands over head delivery, gets tall on back side and shows slight hip turn at top. Lands slightly closed with strike foot and works across front side. Full arm action working to a high three-quarters release point, will occasionally drop to low three-quarters and provide a different look. Creates extension out front and able to generate short life to fastball which topped out at 79 mph. Locates away from righthanded hitters well; mixed curveball and showed it consistently in this look with 2-8 shape and nice depth up to 67 mph. Mixed well and controlled the running game nicely. Lefthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a low back elbow at the plate, strides wider into contact. Upper body dominant swing, utilizes a contact approach and gets the barrel to the ball, line drive swing plane through the zone and looks to pull the ball out front. Very good student.
