Michael Quigley is a 2020 RHP/MIF with a 5-11 180 lb. frame from Halifax, MA who attends Silver Lake Reg. Recorded a 4.90 second 40-yd dash time. Medium frame with athletic, high waisted build. Primary right-handed pitcher who worked almost exclusively from the stretch in this look; smooth, quick paced delivery with slight stab in the back of his arm stroke, repeats mechanics well with exploding life out of his hand. Fastball worked in the 87-92 mph range with occasional cut, showing good hip to shoulder separation and drive down the mound. Showed ability to command hard biting slider with plus horizontal tilt, that has the makings of a true swing-and-miss offering. High level upside on the mound with proper refinement of arm stroke and consistency of mechanics. Secondary infielder with quick feet and athleticism that stand out, hands work out front, with quick through actions through release. Showed big arm strength in throws, recorded up to 95 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter with an upright, even stance, low hand set and leg lift trigger. Uses athleticism well to produce well-balanced, consistent stroke with present bat speed and extension through contact. Middle of the field approach with raw gap-to-gap power and barrel accuracy. High Level two-way potential with room for more velocity in the future. Good Student. Verbal commitment to UMASS-Lowell. Named to the 2020 Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
