Skye Selinsky is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 6-1 175 lb. frame from Corona Del Mar, CA who attends Mater Dei HS. Medium frame with longer limbs and a lean, athletic build. Frame projects to support additional strength. Primary outfielder with compact, smooth paced footwork while closing to and working through the baseball. Clean glove actions at funnel and worked to a taller throwing position through transfer. Released from a three-quarters slot and flashed some accurate carry to the bag, topped at 77 miles per hour. Right handed hitter with a spread, balanced stance and simple front side trigger. Stays on back side and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Stays behind contact well and employed a loose, linear barrel plane. Created some leverage when connecting with baseball out front and working to pull side. Primarily looked to drive the baseball to the middle of the field flashed solid bat speed when on time and squared. Also pitched working primarily from the stretch. High leg lift at stays tall and balanced on back side at gather. Quick arm circle at take back and released from a three-quarters slot. Showed developing feel for each edge of the plate with a fastball that sat in the upper 70's, topped at 81 miles per hour. Curveball featured 10/5 shape with looser spin and solid depth when staying on top of offering. Outstanding student.
