Rashad Hayes is a 2025 SS/2B/3B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Oakland, CA who attends Bishop O Dowd. Long and lean athletic build with lots of physical projection remaining. 6.85 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, has very smooth and easy actions, moves through the ball well to both sides with easy balance, clean glove work, throws on the move well and changes his arm slot, plays comfortably and confidently. Right handed hitter, hits form a straight stance with a rhythmic load, has some hand quickness but struggles to be on time consistently, swing is loose and projectable. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Stanford.
